Motion principles for the global rebrand working with Interbrand
Motion development
I worked closely with the creative team at Interbrand over a six month period on their global rebrand of CCEP, the distribution part of Coca-Cola.
Taking cues and inspiration from the activities in factories, warehouses and transportation, we developed the motion principles for the brand. Shaking bottles, conveyor belts, bottling machines, small wobbles of cans during transport and the movement of pallets from one place to the next. All these activities gave plenty pointers for the way the design system could move. It was loads of fun interpreting those behaviours and translating them into the motion system.
Trying things out
A large part of this project was working up motion sketches alongside the team at Interbrand. Quick mock-ups and rough tests exploring some of the key themes of the motion identity.

Here’s some of the final work that was delivered and rolled out across various channels.
